Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or as more commonly known from its short name, BSNL is set to hire 2,510 graduates. It is going to recruit these graduate engineers for the post of Junior Telecom Officer. Unlike earlier, BSNL is going to recruit directly without conducting its own exams.
Who can Apply?
Only Candidates who have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2017 (GATE 2017) can apply. This time BSNL will choose its candidates for the post of JTO-T from the GATE 2017 Scores. Exams for GATE 2017 were held on February. There will be no additional exams or interview. All candidates will be selected solely based on their GATE Score. BSNL is set to place 2,510 engineering graduates on merit list.
JTO (T) is a circle-based cadre recruitment. Candidates will chosen for circles that have vacancies. The Candidates selected will have to work only in that circle. They will not be able to change their circle until they are promoted to the all India Cadre. When promoted to the all India Cadres, they will be able to change the Circle.
The post has salary in the rate of ₹ 16,400 – 40,500. Annual increment of 3% on basic pay is also applicable. There are other benefits like House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical benefits and other allowances as per the BSNL Company rules.

Candidates have register online. Registration will be open from March 6 to April 6. Forms are available at the BSNL’s Corporate Office Website.
